5 At Home Coffee Recipes Using Pantry Ingredients (3)

This is one of the easiest coffee recipes at home to make a great cup of mocha coffee and one I have used quite a bit, especially in the winter when regular hot coco just does not cut it. So swap the sugar for a pack of instant hot chocolate with this recipe, and you’ve got the start of a super sweet dessert. I mean, coffee.

Ingredients Needed To Make Mocha Coffee:

  1. Make yourself a cup of hot coffee.
  2. Then add the instant hot chocolate to a steaming cup of coffee.

This is my jam! I am all about Caramel iced coffee especially in the summer and this recipe is particularly good.

Ingredients Needed To Make Caramel Iced Coffee:

  • 4 cups coffee
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 2 teaspoons baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup caramel bits
  • 1/2 cup French vanilla creamer (I like to use sweet cream creamer sometimes)

How To Make Caramel Iced Coffee:

  1. In a sauce pan add everything but the coffee and ice.
  2. Bring your mixture to a simmer and stir frequently to allow the caramel to melt and nothing to burn.
  3. Keep stirring for a hot minute until everything in the pan is well blended (the coco may settle and that’s fine.)
  4. Set aside and allow it to cool separating about a Tbsp.
  5. Then add the coffee and the caramel mixture into a blender.
  6. Add ice to your desired thickness.
  7. Blend until smooth.
  8. Add to your glass, add a little whipped cream and drizzle the excess caramel over it.
  9. Enjoy!

Basic Pantry Coffee Ingredients

Good coffee and fresh filtered water are the main pantry ingredients you need to make your best morning coffee. Milk, Cream & Sugar Substitutions for Coffee Drink Recipes

5 At Home Coffee Recipes Using Pantry Ingredients (8)

As for cream, I love the taste of fresh whipping cream in coffee, but am unable to have dairy these days. Substitutes for cream that I love include soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk and oat milk. There are also many non-dairy creamers on the market that taste fancy and delicious. The good news is that if you are dairy-free there are now a lot of options for you both at the coffee shop and homemade version. Replace your steamed milk, warm milk, cold milk, or cream with oat milk, soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk for the easiest way to go milk-free au lait!

And sugar. While I love a good strong cup of black coffee, try adding some sweetener! Good old granulated sugar works well, I love raw sugar and there are a lot of fun sugar variations and substitutions to try too! Good substitutions for sugar are Xylitol, Stevia, Agave nectar, date sugar, maple syrup and my favorite monk fruit sugar.
