Dersi seçen öğrenciler, bu dersi 2 ve 3 boyutlu platformlarda birçok farklı proje üreterek bitirirler. Bu derste tamamlanmış olan işlerle öğrenciler, sanatçı/tasarımcının nasıl düşündüğünü, güncel işlerin temalarının ne olduğunu ve tasarım sürecini öğrenirler. GRA 219 İLERİ DÜZEY FOTOĞRAFÇILIK
Reklam, ürün ve mimari fotoğrafçılık ile ilgili fotoğraf projeleri üzerine çalışmalar yapılır. Bilgisayar ile dijital görüntü düzenleme programlarına giriş düzeyinde çalışmalar yapılır. Yapay ışık; stüdyo flaş ışığı ve sürekli ışık kaynakları kullanılarak fotoğraf stüdyosunda yapılan iç mekan çekimlerine ağırlık verilir. GRA 315 BİLGİ TASARIMI VE DATA GÖRSELLEŞTİRMELERİ
Bilgi Tasarımı ve Data Görselleştirmesi dersi, öğrencilerin karmaşık veri ve veritabanlarını, grafik tasarımın metodlarını bir araç olarak kullanarak organize etmelerini ve sunmalarını hedefler. Öğrenciler, grafik tasarımın araç ve olanaklarından yararlanarak çok–değişkenli verileri görselleştirmeyi öğrenirler. Bu süreçte kullanılan bazı evrensel prensipler (karşılaştırma, nedensellik, kanıt entegrasyonu, güvenilirlik, anlamlı içerik) dersin odak noktasını oluşturmaktadır. GE 401 YENİLİKÇİ TASARIM VE GİRİŞİMCİLİK I
The first one of a sequence of two courses - namely GE 401 and GE 402. Fundamentals of design - from the conception of an idea to a marketable end product within the framework of a simulated start-up company. Inception of a start-up company. Business plan preparation; fundamentals of project management; product design stages; incorporation of standards, quality directives, social and environmental factors. Seminars by experts in the field. Concept demonstration of the end-product. The second one of a sequence of two courses - namely GE 401 and GE 402. Presentation of the simulated companies to potential investors of a virtual stock market at a "Traders' Conference". The simulated start-up companies listed in a virtual stock market immediately after the "Traders' Conference". Simulation of marketing of products; simulation of investor relations and company publicity to investors; modification and finalization of initial business plans; simulation of quality certification processes. Completion and presentation of working prototypes of the end products. Planning and design of the associated production plant. Seminars from experts related to start-up company management issues.
