Recently jumped back into the online dating world. Ended up meeting this girl who seemed nice in our exchanges. Finally met up with her and the date went just OK. She was pretty, but I logged into Facebook to look her up. I find her profile and literally every month there is a new selfie of her in her car. Sometimes two in the same week. What is the reason for this? Attention seeking? Lack of confidence?
Her public postings were kind of immature and I saw some negative reviews she left for businesses which also rubbed me the wrong way. It didn't leave me with the greatest impression of her - but the car selfies were kind of the deciding factor here.
Am I making the right call by ghosting her? I'm sure I'll get downvotes for this but I don't care.

Red flag, my dude. It’s just monthly attention seeking and validation with controlled lighting and filters.
I’m curious, did her FB profile have any photos of anything else other than her own face? Sounds like she needs a hobby.

OP is this your way of saying you're jealous of anyone who has a nicer car than you? If you're really about it then your goal should be to have sex with that validation seeking individual inside her car. Otherwise, complaining and talking about more interesting people all day while doing absolutely nothing with your own life is reserved for those taking L's.

What you have described indicates she is not wife material and women like this will never be but they will eventually pretend to "get their stuff together" around late 20s once they realize they can't get by exclusively on their looks any longer and their biological clock is running out. Some guy will probably wife it up and ruin his life but he's likely to be not of high value anyways unless he is and just has really low self esteem or something.

Personally, I'm not into taking selfies, and even if I were I wouldn't post them to Facebook. How old are you, and how old is she? I feel like it's extremely weird for young adults (maybe early thirties down to college age) to just be posting pictures of themselves on Facebook.
In any case, I think the reason people tend to take selfies in their cars specifically is because they can get good lighting in there. If the sunshine is right and is hitting a person's face from both the side windows and windshield, it can make for a more flattering photo than inside a building or something like that.

Car selfies are popular bc the lighting from the windshield makes everyone look good and also shows you have wheels, not some poor that uses public transit or walks everywhere.
Also, it’s often where people take pix after getting their hair cut or done without asking their friend of hairstylist to do it, out of embarrassment I guess.
Personally, not a fan of the car selfies. However, since you’re online and not meeting people in normal life, do you have any business being picky?
