Cars 4; Racing Like a Hero is the 11th main installment of the Cars series and its 8th animated car film. This film is produced by Pixar Animation Studios and The Walt Disney Company. This film is about Lightning McQueen finding a way to have Rich Mixon race in the Tank Coat 500.
Plot[]
This film takes place after the events of The Adventure Begins of Cars Story, Rich Mixon (Hayden Christensen) and his wife, Brenda Martinez (Natalie Portman) take the legendary Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) to the Tank Coat 500. But in the night before the race starts, Rich dreams about Brenda's childbirth death. Then Otto Wolfgang Zündapp (Thomas Kretschmann) comes to him and to win the race.
McQueen and his crew, especially Tow Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) says Brenda is gonna die. So McQueen must win the race for his comeback. Jackson Anakin Storm (Armie Hammer) tells him he will win. McQueen gets Mater's spy rockets for the big race.
Back in Radiator Springs, McQueen tells all the townies that Brenda is going to die. Rich tells him he is going to let her live. In the racer council, Will Rusch (Adam Driver) says that Rich was not granted the rank of legend. He gets outraged and leaves the council. McQueen thinks of Brenda's death and gets it.
McQueen's mission is to destroy General Cryptor (Matt Wood), a robotic warlord. He starts fighting the robot warlord and shot him with a gun. Then Will captures Otto in order of the Senate of the Piston Cup Racing Series. Otto tells Rich to go to radiator springs and capture Sarge (Paul Dooley) and Sally Carrera (Bonnie Hunt).
In Rich's lair, he takes Sarge and Sally. But McQueen, Mater, Cruz Rey Ramirez (Cristela Alonzo), and Peter Kevinson (Ben Stiller) saves Sally and Rich kills Sarge and takes Sally. McQueen and his friends get on the rescue before the race starts. Senator Ralph Carlow (Tony Anselmo) and New Dinoco Racer Hank Weathers (Seth MacFarlane) tells the townies about the race. The race starts with McQueen in the lead. Brenda tells Rich that he loves him. And Peter takes Brenda to a plane. In lap 499, Rich and McQueen fight for the trophy. Then he wins and Rich crashes and burnt in the Pit of Death.
1 year later, In the Radiator Springs Hospital, Brenda gives birth to Lucas Mixon Jr and Jordan Martinez Mixon Jr, and dies. After the race. Rich was dead last and Otto transformed him into Rejected Exploud. Sally gives birth to Lloyd McQueen Jr. McQueen talks to Doc Hudson (Scott Glenn) as a ghost and takes Jordan to Ralph and his brother Bail Carlow (Chris Rock) and Lucas to Rich's step-brother Curtis Spinner (Seth Green) and Cam Spinner (Corbin Bleu) to adopt him.
