To measure for the proper size of helmet for snowmobiling, use a soft, fabric tape measure and wrap it horizontally around your head, just above your eyebrows. Once youve found the circumference, consult the sizing charts below to find your perfect helmet.

Generally Bell helmets fit acording to the size chart however differences in head shapes can cause helmets to feel tight or uncomfortable on some people.
The circumference of the head should be measured at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows in front, and at a point in the back of the head that results in the largest possible measurement.
You can also measure your child's head with a piece of ribbon or phone charger. Just wrap it around their head like you would a measuring tape, mark it or cut it, and measure the string against a ruler. This method isn't quite as accurate, but it'll work in a pinch.
