Homestead High School is the only high school in Aboite Township. Having a diverse population, it is in an urban-fringe community, located in the Southwest corner of Allen County. Homestead is a four-year comprehensive public high school with an enrollment of more than 2,400 students. It is accredited by the Indiana Department of Education and the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary schools. Homestead's school year consists of two 18-week semesters. Students are enrolled in seven, 45-minute class periods each semester.
