You may have noticed the Girl Scouts are out in full force around North Texas selling those delicious cookies that not many of us can't resist.
But what you may not know is some of the same cookies have different names.
Take for instance the cookies that are baked with caramel, chocolate and topped with coconut. Some of you may call them Caramel deLites and to others they are known as Samoas.
And you can't forget, the ever popular Do-si-dos or Peanut Butter Sandwich.
According to the Girl Scouts of America there is a simple explanation for the change-up in names, the Girl Scout cookies are produced by two bakers and depending on where they are produced, that's how they get their name.
So in Fort Worth you may be buying Peanut Butter Patties but in Dallas the same cookie is called the Tagalong.
The cookies are made by Little Brownie Bakers and ABC Bakers.
