Wendy's Newest Frosty Has People Booking Plane Tickets to Try It (2024)

At Wendy’s, everyone knows the perfect order is a burger with that signature square patty, an order of crispy French fries (which happen to be our favorite fast food fries), and a creamy Frosty (the ideal dip for those fries). When it comes to Frostys, you generally have your pick between chocolate and vanilla, but occasionally, Wendy's introduces something a little more unique.

Right now, Wendy’s has a brand-new Orange Dreamsicle Frosty that's available nationwide for a limited time. However, that’s not the only Frosty news that’s come to light recently, because the chain just released another new Frosty, but sadly this one comes with a catch.

Wendy’s Introduces New White Chocolate Strawberry Frosty

Last week, Wendy’s announced the addition of a new Frosty to menus for a limited time: the White Chocolate Strawberry Frosty.It features the Vanilla Frosty as a base, which gets blended with strawberry purée and dusted with white chocolate shavings. It's reminiscent of the Strawberry Frosty released back in 2022, only amped up a notch. And while it sounds absolutely delicious, there’s a major catch: It’s only available in Canada (at least for the time being).

Commenters on social media were sad to learn that they wouldn’t have access to the new flavor, saying, “Dang it. That sounds great…for Canadians,” and, “I was so pumped until I saw it's not even in the States. @wendys bring this to the U.S., especially Arizona.”

In fact, some commenters were so envious of the treat, they pondered where it's worth making a special trip to try it, writing, "Maybe I should take a quick trip to Canada," and, "Booking [my] ticket now."

This isn’t the first time we’ve been bummed to hear that an exciting product is getting released just out of our reach. Last summer, McDonald’s released a Squishmallows McFlurry in Canada that went viral and had us begging the brand to bring it stateside.

Even if you aren’t in Canada (or close enough to the border to make a quick trip), you aren’t totally out of luck when it comes to new Frosty flavors in the United States. While the White Chocolate Strawberry Frosty is only available in Canada, the aforementioned Orange Dreamsicle Frosty is only on U.S. menus. The Orange Dreamsicle Frosty features the Vanilla Frosty as a base, combined with sweet orange flavor similar to the Good Humor bar you know and love. Lucky for us, the limited-time flavor is already getting great feedback. One commenter on a post from @snackolator said, “I've already had it, it's bomb.”
