Preparation Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Remove outer plastic netting and wrapper from roast. Leave inner string netting on (this holds the roast together during roasting).
  3. Remove gravy packet and refrigerate until ready to use. If packet is stuck you can run under water to loosen it from the roast, or place roast on microwave safe plate and microwave on High for about 2 minutes.
  4. If thawed, drain juices and pat roast with paper towel (not necessary if frozen).
  5. For easier net removal after cooking, lift string netting and shift position on roast after thawed. DO NOT REMOVE the string netting from from prior to cooking.
  6. Place skin side up in shallow open roasting pan (white meat up for boneless turkey).
  7. For better appearance, brush lightly with vegetable oil or spray with cooking spray. Additional basting is not necessary. Spray the bottom of the pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Storage Instructions

Before Cooking

  1. For best eating quality: 2 years in home freezer, 3 years in a commercial freezer.
  2. Once thawed, and unopened package, use within 3-4 days.
  3. Once thawed and package opened, use with 2-3 days

After Cooking

Use by sell-by date. Product must be thawed in original packaging and cannot be thawed on a counter, in water, or by any other unauthorized or approved method.
