No post-op call was made at critical junctures (Day 2, Day 3).Having complications now that require me to reach out via the online messaging system.

Dr Wagner is very professional, engaging and knowledgeable. I left comfortable with the exam but felt rushed toward the end of the visit. I had additional questions and concerns r/t the tx plan, testing and follow up but felt there wasn't enough time available to explore my questions confirmed when he extended his hand to shake mine, stood and moved towards the door to exit the room. I am sensitive to the time constraints that hinder extended visits with patients. As a healthcare provider and registerec nurse for 50+ years, I'm aware of the limitations that often prohibit staff from obtaining a thorough H&P.Dr Wagner was gracious and attentive to completing my exam and seeing patients still waiting to see him in a timely manner.

Dr Wagner was uncharacteristically short with me.

I came in with pain in my shoulder that has been constant for 15 months. I had hoped for a medical treatment option that would correct the situation. The prognosis that was provided was "stretch and strengthen". A little bit of a let down after waiting months to see the surgeon.

This was a rough appointment with Dr. Wagner. He has been very upbeat and descriptive about options In previous appointments. However, this appointment was different. He didn't have much to say about my condition and or suggestions based on changes in pain level and sleep disturbance scores after months of PT and the Botox treatment I have been going through with TOS. He didn't have much to say other than to see a surgeon, and didn't seem to be able to comment on any questions or concerns I had about surgery and his opinions on further treatment. I felt very alone at the end of this appointment- like I had been talking to a wall with no real recommendations or compassion about what I am going through. He may have been tired or having a rough day, which everyone has so I understand. It was just a very lonely feeling to end an appointment with no deep discussion about recommendations for further care other than visiting a surgeon. I also didn't like that although he is the doctor that diagnosed me with TOS, he is unable to prescribe any medicine for pain control - I understand this is an Emory policy. I will see another doctor for this. I'm so grateful to Dr. Wagner for being the incredible mind who finally diagnosed my TOS after months of other imaging and tests. It just felt like this appointment wasn't the most helpful visit.

Dr. Wagner and his team (Sarah, Libby, etc) have made me very comfortable with my upcoming surgery.

This Emory facility was the best healthcare clinic/hospital I have ever used! From a patient's point of view, the place is new, nice design, clean, and everyone seems happy to be working there!

He gave me hope. Since my surgery in 6/2020. I have had three surgeons who have not wanted to truly help me. Yet that is in my past. Dr. Wagner was hopeful that surgery would help me and is willing to do the surgery. He explained what needed to be done and was compassionate to my situation. My Doctor is super smart and intelligent and so confident and so easy to trust him.We don't see young doctors like this anymore.He gave me such a good hope for my shoulder and we have 4 doctors in the family and I have seen good bad and ugly.He is the best.

Doctor interrupted my concerns on every occasion, proceeded to lecture me throughout the entire video call, still proceeded to not listen to my concerns. Never actually heard what the problem was or gave any suggestions on how to fix it and then hung up on me.

If You mean the Surgeon my recommendation would be excellent except for his large case load making visits with the Dr very hard for any visit requests impossible sooner than 6 to 9 months

Dr Wagner put us at ease right out of the gate. He expressed genuine concern for the situation, which had been difficult to date, and he also took care to explain the complexity in a manner that was easy to digest. His approach to the injury and explanation of the proposed procedure gained our trust and took a great load off our minds as finding a provider willing to accept our case had become quite frustrating.

Dr.Eric Wagner actively involved me in my treatment plan and communicated the benefits vs. Risks with whatever treatment modality I chose. He reviewed my MRI with me and was very thorough. Dr.Wagner is gifted in that he has a great knowledge base, as well as a wonderful bedside manner. He is awesome, and largely because of him, I feel enormously hopeful about my upcoming surgery and my recovery process!

Extremely arrogant. "speed talked" presumably because I wasn't a surgical candidate. Mumbled. Acted liked he could care less.

I had a bad experience . The doctor and the doctors assistant was very quick to say that everything was ok. When they would not understand that my hand and elbow was in a lot of pain. There answer was that it looks good but just because you are a doctor does you know how the Patient feels.
