Good experience

Until recently the only complaint I had with Dr. Keel in particular was that he didn't seem to be as warm as he was when I first became his patient in 2017. However, at this last follow up appointment he was more like he used to be.

He is excellent

I really liked Dr. Keel and appreciated how he listened to me.

The visit with the doctor lasted less than 12 minutes. He did not seem to get much joy out of his job. As a surgeon myself I know when you no longer get enjoyment out of your work its a tough profession.

Dr. Keel seemed to have a difficult time transitioning from military to civilian demeanor. He was very short, disconnected, and offer very few details about my concerns. He didn't review my MRI disc that I brought in to discuss with him, but he said that he had. When I checked Mychart, there were no reviews. I want be using this doctor again. He shows no empathy. He wants to get you in and out as quickly as he can. He didn't even explain the procedure that he would be giving me EPI. The nurse explained it the best she could, but could not answer some of my questions. :(

I seldom recommend anything, but I do tell of my experience with a product or service.

Dr Keel is one of the best providers I have ever had the privilege of working with. He is everything I would want in someone to take care of such a serious issue that I had. I would come back to him anytime and would recommend him highly.

We started out rough, but I am starting to understand Dr. Keel and he made a genuine effort to start understanding me. This visit was a huge improvement over the last office visit.

To be fair, most doctors today seem to keep their distance. They don't let personalities show. Tends to make you feel like you're on an assembly line.

I truly appreciate Doctor Keel and his staff! They are kind, efficient and thorough!!!

I don't know if he had somewhere else to be but the visit seemed rushed and he was very dismissive and didn't really seem interested in my concerns. I really feel that I should get my copayment back as I think I was in there less than 5 minutes.

Dr. Keel is very impressive and offered to do the procedure the next morning which was wonderful considering how long it took me to get the appointment. Actually, not even considering the delay in getting an appointment (which I'm sure was not Dr. Keel's responsibility) to be treated within 24 hours is excellent.

My pain has mostly gone away since my initial diagnosis

Would have appreciated a more detailed explanation of the cause, specific location, and nature of the hip pain I have been experiencing.

Can't quite put my finger on it but Dr. Keel lacks a certain talent for communicating with patients. Walks in - no hello how are so and so. Walks in slides onto his stool and says your birthdate..... Then his explanation is just well it's old age and it happens. For goodness sake you can say I really don't know exactly what it is but here are the possibilities. Not sure he is a patient's doctor.

Dr Keel was not empathetic with my mother, it seems he was frustrated with the malfunctioning of his iPad and my mother's limited English skills. Had he had a bit of patience she could have communicated to him her concerns and answer any question
