If you aren’t already familiar with the magic that is the air fryer, stop right there—these recipes will have you online shopping for one real quick. If you already own an air fryer, you already know its capabilities go far beyond it’s reputation for making “healthier” versions of deep-fried food (like we actually made a pizza in it!). In fact, your air fryer can do just about anything your oven can do, like make some of your favorite grocery store products. We tested six of them and the results were borderline shocking.

Crescent Rolls

There are few things that you can’t do with a can of Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescents. From dinner to dessert, you can count on a can of crescents to get the job done. But don’t overlook their original purpose: to serve as a warm, flaky side bread to your meal. Whether your oven is busy taking care of tonight’s casserole or the Christmas ham, the air fryer can have a batch of crescents on your table in a little over 10 minutes.

How to Make Crescent Rolls in an Air Fryer

Step 1: Cut 8-inch round of cooking parchment paper. Place in bottom of air fryer basket. Spray with cooking spray.

Step 2: Open one 8-count can of Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls. Separate dough into 8 triangles. Roll up each loosely, starting at shortest side of triangle, rolling to opposite point.

Step 3: Place 4 crescent rolls on parchment in air fryer basket. Refrigerate remaining crescent rolls until ready to bake the second batch.

Step 4: Set the air fryer to 300ºF. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove basket from fryer and carefully turn crescent rolls over and place back on parchment paper. Cook for an additional 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and rolls are baked. Serve immediately or wrap loosely in foil while cooking second batch. Repeat the process with batch two.

Cinnamon Rolls

You can’t go wrong when you start the day with warm cinnamon rolls—that’s a fact. Also a fact? You can bake Pillsbury™ cinnamon rolls in the air fryer. The result is golden brown perfection, made in minutes. It’s the perfect solution for when you’ve got an egg bake or breakfast casserole cooking in the oven or when it’s too hot to heat up the kitchen.

Biscuits

There’s a better way to bake your biscuits. Baking them in an air fryer creates a crispy outside layer while keeping the inside warm and soft—exactly how a biscuit should be, according to—well, everyone. We tested it with Pillsbury Grands! refrigerated biscuits and let’s just say, we may just never bake biscuits any other way ever again.

How to Make Biscuits in an Air Fryer

Step 1: Cut 8-inch round of cooking parchment paper. Place in bottom of air fryer basket. Spray with cooking spray.

Step 2: Open one 8-count can of Pillsbury Grands! refrigerated biscuits. Place 4 biscuits on parchment in air fryer basket. Refrigerate remaining biscuits while cooking the first batch.

Pizza Rolls

We’re almost afraid to share this hack for a bag of Totino’s™ Pizza Rolls™with you because we can’t guarantee you won’t be indulging in your favorite guilty pleasure on the regular from now on (if that happens, you can turn a bag of pizza rolls into dinner). If you’ve ever debated about whether pizza rolls should be cooked in the oven or in the microwave, your life’s about to change—or at the very least, your pizza roll strategy. The air fryer cooks pizza rolls in 10 minutes and keeps all of the filling inside. It tastes deep fried but doesn’t use any oil, if that’s not the best news you’ve heard all day, we don’t know what is.

How to Make Pizza Rolls in an Air Fryer

Step 1: Place contents of one bag (we used a 40-count bag) of Totino’s™ Pizza Rolls™in air fryer basket.

Step 2: Set the air fryer to 375ºF and cook for 5 minutes. Pull the basket out and shake. Cook 4 to 6 minutes longer or until edges are golden brown and the pizza snacks are thoroughly cooked (at least 165°F).

Alternative method: if you’d like to make less pizza rolls, follow the same process for a 15-count bag or two cups of pizza rolls. Cook for 5 minutes, shake the air fryer basket and then cook 3 to 5 minutes longer.

Hard Shell Tacos

Heating up hard shells for tacos may seem like a no-brainer; it’s easy to do in the oven, but it’s just as easy in the air fryer and much quicker! Let’s be real, preheating the oven is a pain and heats up the entire kitchen—and if you’re making tacos for dinner tonight, we bet you’d like dinner to lean on the lazy easy side. With that said, we use Old El Paso™ Stand 'N Stuff™ taco shells because no one has the patience to deal with runaway taco fixings.

How to Heat Hard Shell Tacos in an Air Fryer

Step 1: Open a package (10 count) of Old El Paso™ Stand 'N Stuff™ taco shells. Spread 5 shells apart slightly; place in air fryer basket.

Step 2: Set the air fryer to 300ºF and heat for 5 minutes. Serve immediately or wrap loosely in foil while heating second batch. Repeat the process with second batch.

Soft Shell Tortillas

We use our air fryer to heat our soft shell tortillas, too! Refer back to our point that preheating the oven is hard and we don’t do hard things on taco night. Also why we used Old El Paso™ Taco Bowls™ soft flour tortillas for this test; taco bowls are the easiest way to enjoy taco night.

How to Heat Soft Shell Tortillas in an Air Fryer

Step 1: Open a package (8 count) Old El Paso™ Taco Bowls™ soft flour tortillas. Keeping bowls stacked, place on large piece of foil; wrap up loosely. Place in air fryer basket.

Step 2: Set the air fryer to 300ºF and heat for 12 to 14 minutes or until center of bowls are heated through.
