How to answer geography exam questions? ›

Geography is the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments. Geographers explore both the physical properties of Earth's surface and the human societies spread across it.

For example, 3 points for 3 markers, 5 points for 5 markers, etc.

To help organize space, geographers are concerned with asking three important questions about things in the world: • Where is it? Why is it there? What are the consequences of its being there?

Make three points for a 7-mark question. Give reasons for each point. Use sentence starters such as 'This is because…'. Include facts and figures from places to back up each point.
